Damson compote

Damson compote

Persons 4-6 people


  1. Wash the damsons, remove the stones, cut in half and place in a frying pan.
  2. Dissolve the agar agar powder in the water and pour over the damsons. Bring to the boil, then lower the temperature and simmer until the damsons are soft but still holding their shape.
  3. Season to taste with agave syrup and cinnamon.
