Veganuary Wrap Party
We’re big fans of Veganuary and we were delighted to host the Veganuary Wrap party at tibits on the 31st January.
Launched in 2014, Veganuary is an online global campaign that encourages people to try vegan for the month of January. In just two years, they have had over 16,000 people participate in the 31-day challenge, and 51% of 2015 survey respondents said they will be staying vegan. Taking the world by storm, Veganuary expects to top 50,000 participants in 2016 and is looking to translate Veganuary.com into Spanish and German, with other languages following closely behind.
Veganuary chose tibits for their Wrap Party, as they felt it was the perfect venue for a vegan-tastic celebration. Founders Jane Land and Matthew Glover were joined by comedian Carl Donnelly, presenter Anneka Svenska and a host of Veganuary participants in an evening filled with fantastic food, laughter and prizes. The memorable event was caught on film, and the team are working closely with tibits on exciting plans for next January’s campaign. Watch this space!
