QPR captain, Joey Barton, tweeted about his tibits experience to his 933,125 followers on December 22. "Just eating at tibits, vegetarian restaurant. If all veggie food was this good, I could definitely be one..."

A recent survey conducted by tibits polling 2,000 people found that the typical adult follows government guidelines and eats the recommended 35 portions of fruit and vegetables every single week. 72 per cent of those questioned confessed that they love their fruit and vegetable fix, with a third claiming they would rather have fruit and vegetables as part of their main meal, than meat or fish.

Treat your little ones to a storytelling session with Santa at tibits restaurant, Heddon Street, W1 on Saturday 17 December 2011. Santa Claus will be enchanting children with classic Christmas stories such as The Snow Queen, A Christmas Carol, The Nutcracker and The Night Before Christmas, in tibits’ family-friendly, downstairs dining area. There are three possible sessions for children to attend, which run at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm. After the storytelling, children can chat to Father Christmas and tell him what’s on their Christmas wish lists! Our brand new Autumn menu has arrived! Alongside tibits classics such as our Cheese-Apple Salad, Mushroom Antipasti and Pumpkin Salad you will find exciting new dishes featuring innovative ingredients such as Amaranth and Seitan. Amaranth is a grain-like seed originating from the Andes, where it has been a staple food of the Incas due to its high amino acid content. Amaranth is gluten free and offers a tasty alternative for coeliacs. Zurich Strips, a tibits classic, is being reinvented with the use of Seitan. Seitan is made from the gluten of wheat and is a popular meat substitute in Asian cuisine. To finish off enjoy our Glazed Chestnuts or Fig Cream and take a Passion Fruit - Beetroot Juice on the go to keep those energy levels up all day. Enjoy!

Today we launch our new ‘tibits to go’ range, designed to make it even easier and quicker for you to grab a delicious, healthy breakfast or lunch, when you are short of time during your busy, working day.

To enjoy our new ‘tibits to go’ range, simply head to the ‘tibits to go’ fridge inside the restaurant, pick up your favourites, pay and be out of the door in no time.

The range includes breakfast items, antipasti mixtures, salad combinations, fresh sandwiches, tempting desserts and cooling drinks.

You can still find all your favourites such as our signature dried bean salad, but we’ve also introduced great new lunchboxes such as our Ploughman’s Box and Falafel Box. Our sandwich range is being extended to include our own coronation vegetable sandwich and Portobello mushroom sandwich.

For tasty desserts, you will be able to choose from gooseberry fool, lemon posset, rice pudding, sticky toffee pudding and summer pudding. Add a chai frappe or ginger lemonade for a cool and refreshing way to finish it off.

Women have already known it for a long time. Now, more and more men realize the benefit of a mainly vegetarian diet, notices stylish vegetarian restaurant tibits in London, just off Regent Street.
